A few years ago when Podium produced the audiobook of The Translocator, they also produced a bonus audio short story to help promote the big audiobook during launch.
That story is called “Panic at the Tomb”, and it takes place between book 1 and 2 of the trilogy.
It follows Eliana to Cairo where she tries to recruit Lakshmi to join the new archaeology exploration team she’s putting together. Lakshmi refuses, so she offers to extend her stay in Cairo as a ploy to change her mind. Her plans get derailed when an innocent girl gets trapped in the tomb they’re excavating.
It’s a little claustrophobic, but a lot of fun.
Anyway, the story used to be available only if you signed up at AudFans.com. Now, it’s been published on Audible and everywhere else audiobooks are sold. Fans of Audible Plus can try it free – it’s a short read.
And when you’re done, check out The Translocator, or even The Gunn Files audiobooks, next!
If you listen, please rate and review.
